Yay For Opening Day!!!

Baseball's Opening Day has past and what a celebration it was to kick off the baseball season. I was not able to attend any games this year but seeing all the excitement on twitter, facebook, instagram, and websites sure does give me goose bumps. Opening Day provides the hype for baseball fans who have endured the winter months and ready to transition into the spring. 

On full display is patriotism with the “Star-Spangled Banner” being sung all across the country.   Millions of baseball fans search box scores at work, a unity among people from all backgrounds not only exists, it flourishes. I myself searched if Ohtani had any hits, if the Braves won (They Did), and what kind of power display the Yankees had put on.

For baseball fans, the kick off to the season not only signifies 162 days of watching your favorite team play, but bonding with friends and sharing memories with the family. Baseball really is “America’s Pastime.” We're only day one in the books to the season, so I'll check back with some more blogging soon.
